Project Story
The Build
The Black Creek is a modern farmhouse we built in Acworth, Georgia. It starts from Madden Home Design's Black Creek plan and adds a finished bonus room with its own full bath, a front-entry garage and bay windows, for 2,966 heated square feet, four bedrooms plus the bonus room, and four and a half baths. The vaulted great room has exposed beams and a brick fireplace with built-ins, the island kitchen has a walk-in pantry, and the primary suite has a freestanding tub. We have built this plan twice, here in Acworth and on a second home in Carrollton.
